Our lithium battery chargers

All Lithium Battery Store batteries must be charged with an appropriate LiFePO battery charger, as lead-acid chargers will reduce their lifespan and performance. Lithium chargers use a higher voltage to optimize the lithium battery chemistry to prolong the battery’s lifespan. With lead-battery chargers, you get a lower voltage that will fill only 80% of your LiFePO4 battery. Additionally, LiFePO4 chargers allow the battery to charge five times faster, making it possible to get a full charge in one hour.

Choosing the right charger

Don’t forget to check the voltage of your LiFePO4 battery before buying a charger! That way, you can get a charger of a similar voltage, such as 12V for a 12V battery. Plus, you can determine how fast you want your battery to charge. Remember: the higher the amp rating, the faster the charging rate.

To know the charge time, divide the battery’s Ah (amp-hour) rating by the charger’s amp (A) rating. For instance, a 3-amp charger should complete the charge for a 10Ah battery in 3.3 hours. For safety, make sure the amp rating does not exceed the battery’s amp-hour rating because this could damage the battery.

Choose the Battery Charger based on Desired Charging Time

Based on Your sized battery in Ah, please see the chart below which shows the strength of the charger by measuring the Amps/hour the various chargers deliver and the amount of time to charge your battery. The more Amps/hour, the faster your Charging time. It just depends on how long you want to charge your batteries for your needs.

12V Batteries

For Example: A 30AH battery needs 5 hours to charge 100% using a 120 Battery Charger. If using a 600 Charger, the Battery will need 1 Hour and 12 minutes for full charge.
One charger can charge a Battery bank. You need to Add total Amps to calculate total charging time.
Example: You have 4 x 50AH Batteries. This is total 200AH for Battery Bank with a 2000 Charger, the Bank will fully charge in 2 Hours

24V Batteries

For Example: A 40AH battery needs 10 hours to charge 100% using a 120 Battery Charger. If using a 600 Charger, the Battery will need 2 Hours and 12 minutes for full charge.
One charger can charge a Battery bank. You need to Add total Amps to calculate total charging time.
Example: You have 4 x 10AH Batteries. This is total 400AH for Battery Bank. with a 1500 Charger, the Bank will fully charge in 48 minutes.

36V Batteries

For Example: A 50AH battery needs 8 hours to charge 100% using a 240 Battery Charger. If using a 600 Charger, the Battery will need 4 Hour and 10 minutes for full charge.
One charger can charge a Battery bank. You need to Add total Amps to calculate total charging time.
Example: You have 4 x 20AH Batteries. This is total 80AH for Battery Bank. with a 2000 Charger, the Bank will fully charge in 2 Hours.

48V Batteries

For Example: A 80AH battery needs 8 hours to charge 100% using a 600 Battery Charger. If using a 2000 Charger, the Battery will need 2 Hour and 40 minutes for full charge.
One charger can charge a Battery bank. You need to Add total Amps to calculate total charging time.
Example: You have 4 x 20AH Batteries. This is total 80AH for Battery Bank. with a 2000 Charger, the Bank will fully charge in 2 Hours and 40 Minutes.

72V Batteries

For Example: A 40AH battery needs 10 hours to charge 100% using a 360 Battery Charger. If using a 1500 Charger, the Battery will need 2 Hours and 36 minutes for full charge.
One charger can charge a Battery bank. You need to Add total Amps to calculate total charging time.
Example: You have 4 x 20AH Batteries. This is total 80AH for Battery Bank. with a 2000 Charger, the Bank will fully charge in 2 Hours.
