Our 12V lithium-ion batteries use LiFePO4 (lithium-iron-phosphate) technology, which is currently the most advanced. LiFePO4 batteries have twice the power of two AGM or lead-acid batteries and charge six times faster, making them more reliable for the most demanding applications, such as robotics, solar, marine, and trolling motors. Longer lifespan

Our 12V lithium-iron-phosphate batteries have cutting-edge pressure-resistant cells, ensuring a lifespan of 6000 cycles at 100% DoD, a wide operating temperature range, and <3-5% yearly discharge storage.

Suitable as a drop-in replacement

Upgrading to a lithium battery from a standard lead-acid battery is not as complicated as you think! Just be sure to get the right size. For example, a 12v 60ah lithium battery can replace an AGM or lead-acid battery rated at 12V 100Ah or up to 12V 120AH and other similar units. Plus, it can be connected in a series to reach 48V.

Built-in safety protection

Every 12V LiFePO4 battery has a built-in battery management system (BMS) that provides overcharging, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection while ensuring well-balanced voltage in all cells. Plus, it has high- and low-temperature protection to prevent damage and safety issues.

Capacity and voltage

Lithium-iron-phosphate battery chemistry has twice the usable capacity of an AGM or lead-acid battery with a similar rating. This is due to the battery’s flat voltage curve. However, it’s recommended that you verify your application and voltage requirements before connecting any 12V battery in a series. Most of our 12V lithium batteries can be linked in a series for up to 48V. If you’re unsure, you can always check with our friendly experts.

Operating temperature

Our 12V lithium-ion batteries are built tough, so they can withstand harsh and rugged environments more effectively than other lithium technologies and lead-acid batteries. However, avoid recharging below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and use within the maximum and minimum operating temperature range to keep them efficient. That’s 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit when charging and 68 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit when discharging.

Storage capacity

Determine the available energy of a 12V battery by verifying its Amp-hour rating. For example, a 12V battery with a rating of 200Ah should have the capacity to provide 200 amp-hours of energy.

Lifecycles and lifespan

Our 12V LiFePO4 batteries have 6000 life cycles. Their capacity is up to 80% for 3000 cycles in ideal conditions and 50% capacity for 6000 recharge cycles. This is significantly greater than the 500 cycles of an SLA battery.


Our 12V batteries have a maximum discharge current of 100A. We recommend choosing a suitable LiFePO4 charger to maximize battery life and prevent damage. Regular lead-acid battery chargers may work, but they will reduce the lifespan and performance of your battery.
